What it is
Training designed for how your body works now — not how it worked at 30.
Senior Fit is a small group class at Phenom built specifically for people aged 60 and over. Every session focuses on the things that matter most at this stage: building real strength, improving mobility, and maintaining the functional ability to move well in everyday life. Your coach knows your name, understands your history, and works with you at your pace. No pressure, no comparison — just consistent, coached progress.
Strength training Build the kind of strength that supports your body, your balance, and your independence long term.
Mobility and movement Structured work on flexibility and functional range of motion — not just lifting for its own sake.
Modifications for every level Every exercise can be adjusted. No prior experience needed — your coach adapts the session to suit you.
Welcoming small group A relaxed, supportive environment with people at a similar stage. No intimidating gym floor, no pressure.

FAQ
Do I need any fitness experience to join? Not at all. Senior Fit is designed to be accessible from any starting point. If you haven't trained before, or it's been years since you last exercised, that's completely fine. Adam will work with you from where you are.
Is it suitable if I have a health condition or injury? Many of our members train with pre-existing conditions, joint issues, or a history of injury. We'd recommend having a conversation with us before signing up so we can make sure the class is the right fit and discuss any modifications needed. Get in touch before booking if you're unsure.
What does a typical session look like? Sessions cover a mix of strength work, mobility, and functional movement — the kind of training that has real carry-over to everyday life. Everything is coached, paced appropriately for the group, and adjusted to suit each individual.
Do I need to be a Phenom member? No. Senior Fit is open to non-members. You don't need an existing gym membership to attend.
What if I miss a session? Just get in touch and we'll do our best to work something out. We understand life doesn't always cooperate with a fixed schedule.
Why strength training specifically? Strength training is one of the most well-evidenced things you can do for your long-term health after 60. It supports bone density, balance, joint health, and the ability to stay active and independent. We focus on it because it works — and because most people don't realise how accessible it is until they try it.
